Gas prices

Last night gas was $2.50 per gallon at Wal-Mart in Crossett. So, that means if you went inside and got a prepaid card then you would have gotten it for $2.47. WOW! I am wondering what the lost it is going to get to. The down side to this is that the price for soybeans that we (my farming operation) are trying to sale is down. Crazy how everything has a domino effect on each other!

What are the prices in your area?

I saw on the news that it was 2.15 or so...but I sure haven't seen it. It is between 2.35-2.45 where I have seen, and with my kids, I have been all over Little Rock/ NLR, and Conway this week. I filled up the Navigtor for $60 the other day....that is opposed to $90 at it's highest! PUKE

In the booming town of Big Stone Gap, VA, gas is $2.59/gal. I guess they charge more here for driving those gas trucks way back into the mountains!

The station closest to us is actually in Fort Mill, SC-it's $2.46. The station I usually use because it's on the road I travel most often is in Charlotte, NC - $2.79. We were darn near runnin' out of gas trying to find gas up until 2-3 weeks ago. For some reason the Charlotte area was in a shortage. At that time, the only states with prices higher were Alaska and Hawaii. Glad that's over!

i filled up at $2.67 a couple of days ago (in monroe, LA)... i shoulda known though. this evening it was $2.52.

forget those wal mart gift cards and the measley 3 cents per gallon. get you a discover card and specify you want to use it for gasoline purchases only, and you'll get 5% off... 12.5 cents for you there in crossett. just be sure to pay it off each month or you'll end up in the hole.

hey, thanks for commenting today, and thanks for the encouragement!
