Negative things... think about it!!

Have you ever noticed how negative some people can be? Do you ever stop and think about the positive things in your life instead of constantly dwelling on the negatives? Do you listen to yourself, and what you talk about during the day? Do you hear the things that you say, and how you say them? Are you thankful for what the good Lord has given you? Or do you constantly complain about things.... every thing.. even the little bitty things!?!?! Or do you know someone that does?

I urge you to pay more attention to yourself, and the people around you. Try to be more positive for the things you have in life, and don't dwell on the negatives. When someone has something negative to say.. do them a favor and point out something positive to them. We all seem to take so many things for granted now a days... and remember that no body likes to be around some one that is negative all the time!

AMEN!!!! I don't understand why people have to be SO hateful!!! I try to always find the silver lining to everything! It was raining yesterday, no progress on house building, boo, BUT, T-Ball practice was cancelled so I got to spend more time with the babies!!! Have a GREAT day!!

That is a GREAT post. I was in the grocery store last week and the man who carried out my groceries was so positive when he was talking to me even though it was rainy, cold and YUCK out. I told him before I left to keep the positive attitude and he just smiled. I don't think he really knew what to say. I told him I appreciated it and other people would to.

Great post! Thanks for the reminder! I just heard the other day that negativity breeds negativity, so if you're around someone often that is always negative it will rub off on you! Last night at Chick Night at church our Pastor's wife reminded us that we need to surround ourselves with life giving relationships, not energy zapping ones.

Great post! There is so much truth in it. It's something that most of us could use a reminder about.

Radstitches. I LOVED your email to me the other day. When Mo is back in action (SOON), be assured, I intend to share that little bit of hilarity! Is that a word? Thanks for worrying about me. It was felt genuinely.

I TOTALLY agree with your blog post today. I try to think about that all the time, and encourage my entire staff to do the same. People tell me that my office is one of the most upbeat places they have ever been. WHat a nice compliment!! WHen there is a whole group of happy... THAT ROCKS. ANd I want those kinds of friends too! melanie

You are so right. The glass half full is so much better than half empty. I have always thought being negative is such a waste of time.
How can you be happy and negative at the same time? It is really hard.
I have always been a glass half full person, but really learned to appreciate every day and count our blessings after the birth of our grandson with HLHS.
Three heart surgeries and a lot of prayers he is doing great. We are verey blessed for the drs that were able to save him. Have a Blessed day.
